The Wild and Free-Roaming Horses and Burros Act declares that "wild free-roaming horses and burros are living symbols of the historic and pioneer spirit of the West; that they contribute to the diversity of life forms within the Nation and enrich the lives of the American people." Picasso is one such beautiful mustang living with his herd in the Sand Wash Basin of Colorado. A portion of the proceeds from the sale of this model will benefit Front Range Equine Rescue in Larkspur, Colorado, which works to prevent the abuse of horses through education and rescue, and is an active supporter of the Wild and Free-Roaming Horses and Burro Act.
