Ellise Pierce chronicles her expat adventures in recipes and stories on her blog,, and in her Cowgirl Chef column, which runs in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram and is distributed to more than 300 newspapers. She has written for Newsweek, People, and Texas Monthly.
